Use of funds

For 2010, funds will be used for:

• Liaising with implementation partners in Senegal.
• Setting up monitoring and evaluation, (so we can prove it's working, as has already been done for Mali wetlands.)
• Getting scientists to target their work on this through LARI
• Encouraging cross-discipline collaboration through LARI
• Selection of exact locations for biggest effect, prioritising West Africa in the first instance, then S/E Africa, Asia and South America.
• Collating research on the role of vegetation in cloud formation.
• Core admin (many projects fail due to poor admin).
